Joe Paul Cyriac (b. 1991, Trivandrum, India) is an artist working with photography, video and image archives. His work explores issues at the intersections of ecology, technology and spirituality. He studied photography at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute in Dhaka, Bangladesh and at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover, Germany. 

 

Joe has been exhibited at the Noorderlicht International Photo Festival in the Netherlands, Lumix Festival in Germany, Angkor Photo Festival in Cambodia and Egaro Photo Festival in India among other venues. In 2020, he received a grant under the Indian Foundation of the Arts’ 25x25 initiative.
